Overview Of Nutritional Therapy

What is it?

Nutritional Therapy (NT) addresses mind, body and spirit as a whole. They are interconnected and whatever happens in one area also affects the other two. For example, stress, lack of sleep, anxiety, high sugar consumption, have a real impact which manifests with physical symptoms such as bloating, skin problems, headaches etc.

 

Practitioners consider each individual to be unique and recommend patient-centered nutrition and lifestyle programmes rather than a ‘one size fits all’ philosophy. It is for those exact reasons that the personalized approach of NT works well alongside conventional medicine.

The aim is not to just get rid of the symptoms, but to restore optimal health in each individual.
