My name is Isabelle Lemaignen and I have three children (25, 23 and 20). I am French and after living in the UK for over 20 years, I settled in Northern California (Silicon Valley, near San Francisco). I'm fluent in both French and English.
My passion for the body and how it works comes from years of trying different kinds of treatments to overcome my own health issues, and learning how to address them the best way possible to enable my body to repair itself. I have tried many therapies for myself, such as acupuncture, osteopathy, physiotherapy, nutrition, homeopathy, iridology, reiki, meditation and so on. I believe most ailments have the ability to be reversed, depending on the severity of symptoms of course, as the body always wants to heal itself. Sometimes the road can be long and challenging, but it is worth it in the end. I am pleased to say most of my patients so far have experienced positive changes by addressing their health through nutrition and naturopathy, those who didn't are finding it difficult to change their habits. My own teenage daughter has managed to get rid of her severe and debilitating eczema that way, after years of pain and suffering. Everything is possible when you put your mind to it.
I trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in London, both in nutritional therapy and naturopathy. I also follow the principles of Functional Medecine. If you wish to learn more about Functional Medicine, please click here.
I am a certified Nutritional Therapist, Naturopath, and GAPS Practitioner. My passion is to help people get healthy, through natural ways so that their bodies can be all they can be - rather than be damaged by so-called "cures". I apply what I preach, and I can witness first-hand how powerful nutritional therapy can be. Check out my blog to understand how nutrition is helping to eliminate my daughter's extreme eczema.
